The following list is an annotated subject guide to the unpublished Civil War related holdings found in the Clarke Library. It is particularly valuable to researchers because it includes some material that has not yet been cataloged and the annotations found here for cataloged items are usually more extensive and informative than those found in the cataloging record found in Central Michigan University's CENTRA on-line catalog.

Please be aware that new material is continuously added to the collection. Researchers should consult the library catalog, CENTRA, for the most current listing of Civil War material in the Library's collection.
