With over 100,000 cataloged items, identifying the treasures of the Clarke is a difficult task. Every item, after all, is a "treasure" when it answers the question a researcher brings to the library. Some items, however, stand out as unique. These are items that are frequently requested, items that involved a great deal of time and effort to acquire, and items that never fail to receive an appreciative glance when they appear. A sampling of such items is found in this section. These are by no means all of the library's treasures. Rather they are a sampling of what can be found within the Clarke Library.
